Since I didn't get any replies when I asked what place would be the best to go to yesterday, we decided on Saginaw bay.

Well here's the good news, bad news, and good news again.

We fished from 8am till about 3pm, and believe it or not we limitted out between the 3 of us.

The bad news is they were catfish.

The good news is again, that my family loves catfish, so we had a great time. It felt real good to feel something pulling on my line again. All in all it was a great day. OH and if it were legal to keep bass I would have some great pic. My uncle landed a 16", 18", and 19" that had the fattest stomachs. Just huge smallies. What a great time.

We were anchored. I was using a hot and tot, my uncle and cousin were using a perch rig with both crawlers and minnows. I was tipping my hot and tot with either or. We weren't planning on trying to catch them until I caught one within 5 min. of using the hot n tot, and then I kept using it just because I wanted to try and catch other fish, but they just kept hitting it. I had to replace the back hook part way through, and the front hook is all twisted.

Hopefully I'll get the pic of the fish soon.

LAY_Z_BOY if you want cats you should fish the Hot Ponds at Consumers. That place is full of them. The ponds are just to the east of the island outside the mouth of the river. Usually you can't get into the ponds themselves cause they have a cable across the entrance, but the cut leading to it is accessable.
