Well I have to put a few finishing touches on my boat today and tomorrow an my boat will be ready to put in the marina. Thanks to Eyebuster last year, he got me hooked on Lake Erie walleye fishing. I don't have the ideal set up for fishing for the eyes in the river so I have to look forward to trolling. I am targeting to put the boat in next week. Is it still to early to troll the big lake for walleyes? Are they still in the river spawning or are they just everywhere now. I want to get out next week real real bad :)

Hey Alex, what's up my friend? The way I understood it was that you liked walleye fishing and that you just needed some fine tuning.......;) Don't be blaming me for your SUDDEN addiction to 'eye' fishing in Erie, and then your lovely bride comes looking to string my up:eek: I'm way to (cough, cough)young yet and have plenty of fishing to do before my time is up......lol
Yes you can get some fish now in the big lake, the south end around Turtle Island will produce some fish and so should the bay. Just remember that with the water temps on the low side, keep it simple and slow. Don't forget to let the fish tell you what they want. Good Luck buddy,,,,,Hey I thought a relative picked up a rig to fish the river?
