Tough fishing

Just for you guys info. The brown fishing along Ludington, north is non- existant. The Muskegon in the Big Rapids area is very merky and cold with poor walleye results. Walleye fishing at night up at Portage lake is not happening till the water warms up. I'm beating feet for Lake Erie ASAP.

Thanks for all of your posts. I haven't been to Erie for 2 years.

Water is pretty murky at Erie today 4-29-03, pretty cold about 48 degrees, I would wait about a week or 2 for the water to warm and for it to clear up, It had about 2 foot of visabilty in front of Boles but out 2 miles or so it was about 8 to 10 inchs

Welcome Gone Coastal. If you want to get into a bit of Walleye action at a local level, hit the Muskegon just below Rogers Dam. Many 'eyes live in there for sure !
