Fished the tib for 2 days straight. Caught atleast 40 walleyes with just a handfull being throwbacks. No tagged fish this year. But the fish took a pounding over the last several days. All the fish came trolling cranks and I never touched a crawler. Although there were several times i thought about it. All in all it was a good weekend and everyone seemed to cooperate with one another. Just amazes me these fish will still eat a bait with that much pressure. Went back yesterday afternoon with my brothers and we released 3 limits in 4 hours of fishing. Gonna be back this week for another try. Definetely a slow ride with the water being low. Hope everyone had a great and safe time.

just curious,
i fished saturday morning, got one fish(tagged at that)
from shore, fished last night from a boat, jigging mostly
for about 3 hours (5pm till 8 pm )
never caught one, we put in at the gordonville access and
worked downriver 3 to 4 miles.
are the fish all up at the dam?
and what approach do you use for trolling crankbaits in the river.
slow the drift with the trolling motor and let the bait downriver from you? i was trying to drift a jerkbait, behind the boat,
but it was always banging bottom pretty hard.
thanks
