Hands down favorite: Rivergod emerger
14-12 Hook; few fibers of wood duck flank along with brown z-lon for tail. Reddish brown superfine dubbing 3/4 of the shank. Puffy tuft of dun/ bluish dun z-lon for wing(angling back) and finish the the last 1/4 of the hook shank with a few wraps of grey dubbing. This thing seems to work during all stages of the hatch except the spinner fall. Floats well and easy to see. Works really good on colder days when fish are feeding but you can't see what they're taking, which are actually the nymphs right under or in the surface film.
