One thing to keep in mind is that not all food plots will attract deer, no matter what you plant.
If deer aren't typically passing at least near your area, adding a food plot may not draw them in.
Consider that only certain spots in certain fields attract deer. Surrounding fields with the same crop don't seem to attract deer as well.
The deer need travel corridors to the food plot that they feel confident travelling and that are connected to other places that the deer normally go to.
The number one rule in deer hunting is still location.
