Well Big Bob, Pollywog, guys. NOT GOOD NEWS. Water is silty from Amer. to Can.

I drove by lake shore drive and the lake looked like mud, but I thought I could see some blue way far out??

got to St Jeans spoke with 2 old timers set up for handlining. They got nothing . Two Jiggiers I spoke with got nothing but stated yesterday they got blown around and got one big 5 lb eye. they also stated they were fishing a semi clear line in the middle on the edge of mud on both sides

I got out at 5 Checked by the roostertail (silt -no fish type water)ran over to canadian club to check water (worse than our side)

I kept checking the water by looking at the bottom of my engine .The best I found, I could could not see the prop, but I could see the bubbles. That was at the base of the Belle Isle Island. So I worked from the grn can, Center of the island on the shelf from 26 ft. to 22 ft.

I got one fish 20" the first 1/2 hr looked like she was spawned-? didn't clean it yet. and lost a shaker on the way up. both handlining With in an hr. both on the same Rap. # 9 posted in my gallery.

A boat drove by and bragged abuout getting a hog -- looked 24" but i'll give him 26". He then stated he was out all day and that's all they had?. looked like they were set up to handling and jig.

I also checked the north end of the river all mud. I was out of the lot at 730 pm and I was the only car in the lot. not good .

Hope it clears up. If not handline in the cleanest water from 22 to 26 foot ------ good luck---- smelting Sat. Poss doing the river Sun.
