Put in at metro today to try out and break-in new boat. Spent a little while slow-trolling and drifting the mouth of the spillway and behind Gino's. Terrible day to be on LSC but it had to done. Marked alot of fish but nothing happening. Very rough and water very cloudy(no surprise). Will be out there tommorow anyway. Need to burn up this first tank (double dose of oil). Hope to get a little fishing in then too. Would at least like to catch a decent pike to "christen" my fianc'e "wedding present. HA-HA-HA!!

New boat will be great I'm sure but I had the old one for ten years so I'll get use to it. I guess when this boat we will be paying on for ten years brings in more/bigger fish than the old one everything will be OK. Its kind of funny because this boat seems to use more gas and "pops" than the old one. I will be down at the river next week even if I have to buy the old one back! Good luck and I will post.
