Anyone know where in Southwest MI I can find buckwheat grits?? I've been searching all the bulk food places I can find, but with no avail. I'm going to be making grit sausage, but can't until I find the grits. Any help would be appreciated,

I always buy mine at a health food store.

Fuzzz,
Do you mean Buckwheat Groats? If so, they are usually available at Amish Grocery stores, or health food stores.

i've seen the groats, but can't find the grits. grits are ground groats. if worse comes to worse, i guess i could buy a cheap coffee grinder and grind em up like that. i used to get them at Apple Valley (a health food store in Berrien Springs), but the lady said she couldn't get them anymore. guess i'll have to go buy some groats.
ok, thanks guys!
at a amish bulk food store in Centreville, the gal (who spoke german, so they're pretty amish) didn't even know what buckwheat grits (or groats) were. ------ just a side note; thought it strange. figured if anyone knew where to find them, it'd been the amish.
I pick them up at the local bulk food store, along with my steel cut oats.
