Well, I hate to be the one the serves up the bad news but. I launched at Wyandotte boat ramp, drove up the the Am. bridge, seen plenty of boats on the way, maybe about 50 talked to about 20 of them and 1 boat said that they had one fish, now positively speaking that's 30 or so boats that could have limited out, but I doubt it... all the way to lake erie on the canadian side of the ditch to see some of the dirtiest water I've seen in some time. Around Celeron Is. up the river through the trenton channel, where I weaved through about 75 more boats talked to about 30 boats again to hear and see a lot of thumbs down motions.....now that's about 40 so boats, ah hell you know the story,,,,all the way back up the ramp water pretty dirty all the way around.....Did not wet a line, just a scouting mission for Friday and saturday.....Things will get better....I think.

Ya, Me and a buddy were fishing the Trenton Channel yesterday (4/10). We were the 2nd boat in the water at Wyandotte (6am) and by 3:30 we had seen about 12 fish caught (Mostly large fish and one that was very fat that must have been a female. I would have liked to see that one go back into the water but the guy put it in the live well instead. Can't say that I blame him much, Probably the only fish he took home for the day) but none of them were brought into our boat.
Sure beat going to work though :D
Maybe Saturday will be better.

we are going really early saturday.....if fishing is slim to none in the AM would it be worth our time to stay till late PM?

Looks like just good ol' pikin's and perchin for me this saturday!!!! I know how hard it can get in muddy water for those eyes, so, i might fish for them a little if the water is a little cleared up, and hopefully it will. Looks at the good news, from about month ago, lk erie is up at least a whole foot, which, i would consider good in the long run.
