I don't own either, but, from what I've heard...the Sportsman is the best out there!
Good Luck!

I have been fishing Kent lake for about 4 weeks now and have hit great fishing everytime i went out. The perch have slowed during the day and aren't very big at all, about 6-8 inches and anywhere from 7-12 fish a day. The crappie are slamming at dusk till the park closes, again anywhere from 6-10 inches. We caught about 50 fish last weekend between 2 of us. Did see one younger guy catch a monster at about 12 inches long.
We had been getting quite a few pike anywhere from 25-35 inches but only one flag last weekend. Although the fishing pressure has been real heavy with fishermen scattered across the whole lake. But worth the trip, good luck.

The Polaris Sportsman is the MACHINE! A friend of mine bought one this fall. I've ridden it several times and it blows anything else I have been on away.

Swoop, where abouts were you fishing. I was out there sunday, from 11 am until 4 pm, didn't have a bite. From 4 pm to 6 pm caught 6 barely keeper crappies. Had the tip ups set didn't have a flag up. Might try again in a week or two. Like to know where you were catching them and on what?

To walleye warrior:
Iwas also at the west boat launch. In about 28-30 ft deep, and using moon glo tear drops tipped with small minnows if possible to find some. We didn't really pick up on fish until about 5:15. The flags were slow last weekend with only one but had been hitting good pike up until last weekend. The perch have just about shut down. But your best bet is to try for the crappies and big thing is come prepared to stay late. Good luck

Just got back from Kent Lake, fished from 6pm to 930pm only got about 6 keepers. And they were barely keepers. Forget this inland lake crap, I'm going back chasing perch on St. Clair.
