Lake Erie

Is anyone doing any good ,or fishing for that matter on Erie? Specifically looking for Brest Bay or Luna Pier. Wanted to go this weekend but the weather didn't cooperate. Appreciate any info.

Fished on Brest Bay last night, stayed till 6 p.m. had 2 walleye at the hole but both got off. We were 1 3/4 of a mile out.

hey trapper , how was the ice conditions? was there alot of water on the ice? were there any machines running?

Off the shore about 50 yds. there was water ( about 3 inches in spots) on the ice. There were plenty of machines out. We took a polaris 4-wheeler, but there were about 20 snowmobiles out there. I would suspect the water would be alot worse now.

Was at Boles Harbor Sat. open water.

just come back from brest bay. not a bite between 5 guys. ice is firming back up not many soft spots.
