Lake ponema and Lobdell

Just wondering if anyone has been out on either of these lakes and how the fishing was!

My cousin and his dad tried Lobdell at the end of December with very little luck. They iced one undersized northern and quite a few bluegills, but they were all under 5 inches. They said the water level is way down which may have something to do with it.....so if you could find a pocket of deeper water it might help.
