I just got home from Cabela's and brought home with me a new Rino. Now how do I use this thing?

I have some time to figure out how to use it but was wondering if the $99 for the topo software is worth purchasing???? Thanks....

I don't know about the topo software. I haven't tried it, but congrats on the new purchase. I use mine a lot (used it scouting today).

I plan to use it fishing also. I want to mark holes in rivers and keep a log of what was caught where so I can return. The clerk said the topo software downloads more detailed maps. Without the software the maps only have Interstates, US roads (ie US10, etc) and county roads. No rivers like the PM, Big Man and others appear without the topo software. The waterways software has lakes and the Detroit River which are too big for my drift boat so I was just wondering if anyone uses it for the rivers.
