purchasing exotic meat and game

I recently received an electric smoker for my birthday. The recipe book that came with it, and the ones I've borrowed from the library, have sausage and jerky recipes that suggest game and exotic meats. Short of hunting it (i'll have to wait too long), is there a market or store around the detroit area that sells game meat (venison, elk, bear) and exotic meat (alligator, emu)? Anyway, just interested in experimenting.

Don't know if there is one near you, but Butcher Boy Meats in Warren carries a variety of game. Venison, buffalo, emu, ostrich, etc. They'd probably be your best bet....
