Dearborn Sausage Hunters sausage

The best hunter sausage I've had comes from Dearborn Sausage Company. I'd like to make it at home, but haven't had any luck. I tried a couple of pre-mixed seasoning packs but the flavor just isn't there. Any one know of a good recipe that may come close?
The last I made was from a kit purchased at a Packer Supply in Detroit, Deer Hunter brand. It turned out okay but nothing compared to the stuff from Dearborn's south end.

I made a hunter style sausage this past weekend. I used Deer Hunter brand I purchased at Packer Supply in Detroit. It turned out okay, just doesn't quite fill the bill.
