Trout thru the ICE.

Hey,
Well the season is here. Ice not in the best shape, but many lakes are being fished here in the Kalamazoo area. Getting some nice gills.
I understand some lakes in the area hold TROUT. How do you fish 'em? Depth? Bait? spoons? Rainbows and ?
