first off a big thanks to tkpolasek for the info on the lure it iced me 4 eyes today a 14.5 in.,15in.,17in.,& a 25in.6lber.i fished melbourne rd. from 6-11.at 7:30 i dropped down the aqua vu,i saw 126 walleye and 1 perch so there are fish there but getting them to bite is tough!!! ice was about 9in.

Nice go at TT. Wanted to go this afternoon but had a doc appointment. Hope to be there this weekend with the not so secret bait.Even doc said he heard about them on the sports radio :confused: Sounds like the ice is getting thinner. We had 12" on saturday.:(

Well the million dollar question is what was the lure? Color? I maybe up there Saturday for my b-day and would like to catch a few.

i was useing a silver cicada.

I caught a gold cicada off of the bottom of the river in this area on Sat evening. No line attached, just like someone lost it through the hole while trying totie it on. Maybe I should have tied it on! Thought I had a hit at first with the sudden extra weight, but in two trips up there I haven't caught an eye yet so why would I think I had one then...

thanks trophy, I have used Cicada's before trolling and casting and caught fish. Never caught one ice fishing, but my brother has. Thanks for getting back with me. Maybe I'll see ya out there.
