Here in the great SW Michigan, the ice report is as follows: Many lakes have accumulated ice as thick as 2" but many are still not safe to trek on to. On magician lake where I live, the ice is a good 3" thick but may vary from location to location. The ice is getting thicker by the night, and pretty soon there will a safe amount to trek accross.
By the way how are the ice amounts elsewhere in this glorious state?
