Ice amount report (SW Michigan)

Here in the great SW Michigan, the ice report is as follows: Many lakes have accumulated ice as thick as 2" but many are still not safe to trek on to. On magician lake where I live, the ice is a good 3" thick but may vary from location to location. The ice is getting thicker by the night, and pretty soon there will a safe amount to trek accross.

By the way how are the ice amounts elsewhere in this glorious state?

Been fishing since last weekend, caught some on the channels on Gun lake, 4to 5 inches of ice. caught some good ones today on the snug harbor cove at portage lake south of vicksburg. Saw some guys on sunset lake in vicksburg. Seems to be good ice in a lot of places around here, most of the guys i know that fish a lot have been getting out. Hope the snow doesn't mess it up.
