Sag. River Tuesday Anyone?

I sorta want to try the river tomorrow (tuesday the 4th). I have never done this fishing before and if anyone else from the detroit metro area is going, would you mind me taggin along, i don't even know where to park! Need someone to show me the ropes.... Thanks

Where you gonna be fishing at? Also what kind of shanty to do you have. That way If it's not too dang windy, I might head out there and I will be able to find ya. If it's the same, i'm staying home and tyin flie's, :p

i will be parking at the pull off spot under the big tree about a half mile south of the bait shop. i have a brown tarp homemade shanty. if you see a 4 door dark blue dakota than i am there. if i am not in my shanty i will have carharts on with an orange hat. hope to see a few of you there.

north of the bridge.coming from the bridge there is a gaurd rail that ends at a long grassy area along the road and thats where we have parked.i will be there by 1 so you can look for the 4 door blue dakota with the i love animals there delecious sticker in the back window.

yeah the women approved i can wait my first sag river trip my first wallleye thru the ice trip ill prolly get skunked but who gives a s#$% ill be fishin anyhow ya know:D :D :D :D

FYI, guys going to fish north of the Z- bridge. There is some real bad ice north of the log cabin. It will go from 5 in. to 1 in. in a foot step. I knew about it , was testing every step with a spud and still fell through. The whole river system this time of year can be bad so be very careful.

As of now Im planning on taking my kid with me tonight!!! I will see what she thinks though when I pick her up from school!!!! I might have to drag her along kickin and screamin!!!! LOL!!!!! Should be there around 4:30! Will be at the same location as the last outing!

I'm hot and inbound in about 2 hours! Packing heat with the new lure. My gaff is in rough shape after last night...Hopefully it hold for another two nights.

my first sag. river walleye experience im hooked and i didnt even catch any...... man those fish turn on quick right on time like clock work watched them hitting the ice like crazy right near dusk man there were some hogs out there i was skunked but im ready to go again
