If you go to Sessions buy a dnr sticker or drop your money off at the booth, they are handing out tickets.:(

I've fished Sessions a couple times this year without any luck. Planting records show they put quite a few eyes in there, but I've yet to see anyone ice one. I here about guys getting some in the summer, but the ice walkers I've talked to out there all have the same story, skunk. Had one guy tell me that they had a massive die off of the eyes a while back and they had to start from scratch again. Not sure how much of that is true.

What have you heard about the eyes in Sessions? Ever hear of any good catches from there? I've fished the wood and just about everything with the exception of the basin off the beach and dam. I may give it one more try and see if it is a pm bite.

Thanks in advance for any insight anyone may have on Sessions.

Sib if I remember correctly the DNR biologists said they had a year class, maybe two years of planted fish not make to through the season. That was one of the years when they tried some back to back plantings. There are a good amount of legal walleye there from what she told me and seeing the ones my friend caught I have to beleive what I heard.

i fish sessions on the south side just in from all the pan fisherman with jigging rapalas no 5-7. black and crome works good but you can catch walleyes a lot of different places by the handycap by the point and sunken island get out first ice. not many guys jig walleyes out there that i have seen i like it that way. get write on the break 15-18ft of water. 4:30 til dark is prime time. (if you find some snags fish write by them)
