Fireline for Ice fishing

Just wondering if anybody has tried it! I tried spiderwire once, What a mess!!!!!!!

I tried fireline ONCE! I would not recommend it to anyone for ice fishing. after catching 1 fish in about 35 feet of water my line was frozen solid. I couldn't even peal it of the reel by hand

Thanks Chef!! That's exactly what happened to me and my spiderwire experiment. Just thought maybe fireline would be a little different story.
