[Lost Lake Ed]

I spent all day on the lake with six buddies and we got one fish. We fished up by the hardwoods in everything from 25 to 65 feet of water. We lost one due to a bad knot and had one other flag. We moved tip-ups all day long and jigged like there was no tomorrow. The guys next to us caught a couple but they were too small. It was slow to say the least. It was a beautiful day though and we got to spend some QT with our friend who will be going overseas very soon. Hopefully it will pick up this week. So far this year has been my best year on hubbard.

Saturday was a great day to be out on the ice. Fished the west side 22 to 50 fow - no runs, hits or errors. Sunday was brutal. Fished the south end of the lake -10 degrees/40mph wind. Tried for about 2 hours in the afternoon - gave up.
