Finally caught a couple nice Walleye off the river this year. Just north of the Z-bridge under the power lines. 20 ft of water. Lure of choice was a pearl 3/8 oz. jig tipped with a minnow and a stinger hook. One was 23" and the other was 18". Had a couple other hits as well. Got rid of that skunk that was going on this year.

nice ones, dan.!!!
Nice fish.
We fished Sat March 1 morning at the grain elevators. Very slow, didn't see a fish iced. Went to Franks, had lunch and fished the afternoon off Rust Ave. One 25" fish and two 15 1/2" fish with a couple undersized fish. A few others caught some this pm, too. Green seemed to be the hot color today, green 1/4 oz jigs w/stingers and Hot Tiger jigging Raps and a Nils Master with green did good for us.
The afternoon bite was fairly quiet, but a good group of fish came through at about 4:30 and the action was good until about 6:00(all our fish came during this time). The sun had the shanty at about 55 degrees and it felt great. Man, I was thinking we'd be stinking after this am :o, but salvaged a decent day :D
