fish with eggs?

i was talking to someone and they said they keep the females with eggs in them (if legale size) do yuo keep the females with eggs?i don't i put them back in. thanks teampolarisracing

howdy, i usually try to put back the females with eggs. what was the reasoning behind them keeping them. it seems like to me we need the eggs to have more fish next year.

Only females that I've caught this year were Perch, and the few that were keeper size I kept. I seriously doubt that my 15 - 20 hen perch so far this season will dramaticaly impact next years fishery.

I kill every hen steelhead and salmon I catch(lots). Besides, like Splitshot said, 90% of them die anyways so what is the point of letting them go?
