A few years ago when building an addition to my house I had to buy a few extra tools to get it done. (This meant I couldn't spend a ton on any one of the MANY I needed :)) I bought this "Miter saw workstation" to put my miter saw on. It just clamps on to a 2x6 (whatever length you want) and you're ready to go. Well, I used it for that job and it worked fine. But after I was finished, it got broken down and I haven't used it since. I've got a MUCH bigger and better saw now that is WAY too big to fit on this unit.
I'll let it go for $20.
This pic is with a 2x4 but it's designed for use with a 2x6
Saw is NOT included !

Here you got me all excited when I saw the subject line... :(
Best of luck selling it John. (I don't think you'll have much trouble.)

Ruler,
What kind of "workstation" were you looking for ?
I have another one that's BRAND NEW. I've never even mounted my saw to it. I paid about $200 for it on ebay. When it came, I assembled it and it is very sturdy and looks great. It folds up and has wheels on one end so that it acts like a cart to move your saw around. It extends to 14' or something like that. It's got an number of attachments. It's a very nice saw stand but just NOT what I thought it was. :( I wish I'd gone to a local dealer and looked at one BEFORE I bid on it. It WILL work, just not the way I wanted it to. They just came out with another brand I'd like to get but I can't see dropping any more money on that until I can get rid of this one. If wouldn't have been such a hassle to return it I would have. (It came fromm CA)
If this is something you might be interested in, I'm open to offers.
This thing is just sitting there NOT being used. Let me know.
Thanks
Here's a link to amazon.com. They sell that unit for $250 (Like I said, I'm open to OFFERS !) I probably won't use it. :(

I read it as being a Miter Box and station, not just the station, which is why I got excited. It's just as well, since the basement doesn't have room enough for all the power tools I have already.

The $20 saw stand is gone.
If there's anybody else here interested in the other one I have, that one is still available. (see the link for a picture) I paid $200 for it. Make me a reasonable offer and it's yours. I'm probably not going to use it and it's brand new.
Thanks
