looking for a change of pace for sunday and was wondering where might be a good spot to try for pike in anchor bay? We use to go to the raft bar area years ago.

Most anywhere you go in Anchor bay will produce pike. Fair haven is a good spot along with Selfridge and Cotton rd area. Water depth in these areas are 5-7ft. Perch will come and go and occasionally a pike will wander by. Be careful not to spear Muskies. Thats a no-no.

I hope you have some luck SPEARING. We fished Fairhaven from 8-2 today w/ 4 tip-ups out and did not have a flag except from the wind. We moved four times. Very tough fishing due to high winds. I've fished about 8-9 times this year for pike in a few different areas but have not had any luck. Only went out a few times last year but caught at least two keepers each time. Not enough snow to rabbit hunt so I guess i'll just keep trying. We were able to keep the grill going long enough to cook up some venison so all was not lost.
