Metro Beach The good and the bad

The good and the bad. First for the good, the ice over at Metro Beach is well over 20” thick, and clear. Now for the bad news, the waters been cloudy and the fishing has been real poor. The number of fishermen for the last week or so have been low and the ones that do go out are having very little luck.;)

I stopped by ginos about dark and there was a guy coming off the ice that had about 20, some pigs too. There was about 6 shantys clustered off to the south and out rather far, had the lanterns fired up for the night bite. Metro has been sloooow. Hopefully itll pick up in the next couple of weeks, can't get much worse... Heard they hit fish off of brandenburg this morning, mostly 9and 10".......
