We are pleased to announce that the Dry Fly Emerger has been
extensively reworked for 2003.
This boat has 6' x 14" dia. pontoons and the weight capacity is 250#. Total boat weight will be around 30#.
Great if you have to carry in a distance.
Frame size is 45" x 45" and will fit almost anywhere for transporting.
This boat package includes frame, pontoons, pontoon mounted gear bag, oars and hand pump.
Package price starts at $595 and has the same quality and warranty as the rest of the Dry Fly Float Boat line.
Sorry that a picture is not yet available but this new boat will be
merchandised at the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo. March 8 & 9 at the Southfield Civic Center, Southfield Mi.
Our web site www.dryflyfloatboats.com is being revised and will soon show this new boat.

The frame of this boat is 17" shorter that the standard 8' boat.
It will fit better in smaller vehicles.
To compensate for the shorter frame, there is an adjustable (length) foot reat bar.
The weight is about 10 pounds less.
The pontoons are 6' x 14" dia vs the 8' x 14" dia pontoons on the standard boat. There is also one full size urethane bladder in each pontoon rather than the normal 2 bladder system.
The seat is a padded hard shell Wise fold down unit, the same that we put on our 10' & 12' two person boats.
One pontoon mounted gear bag ranther than the normal 2.
All materials and quality is the same on all boats that we manufacturer. The Emerger also carries a life time warranty and 3 years on the pontoons.
thanks
Dave

Boy that one sure sounds sweet.
A perfect solution for the White. Is there an option for a double bladdered version?

The new EMERGER was designed to keep costs down and to allow for a smaller boat.
Some wanted to spend less money to get into a Dry Fly Float Boat. Here is the opportunity.
With our "customizing" policy we can give many options.
Double bladders in each pontoon, extra gear bags, oversized pontoons along with our many other options are available.
The basic boat with pump and oars (everything you need to get on the water), starts out at $595.
The cost to up grade with available options can be quoted on an individual basis.
There is one exception to the above statement.
If Splitshot intends to take along everything he owns on a fishing trip, he will have to upgrade to 10' pontoons. LOL :D :D :D
Actually this is not out of line. If someone wants a small frame to fit nicely in a small vehicle, and still wants the larger weight capacity, they can upgrade to 8' or 10' pontoons. Once deflated,
the pontoons take up very little space in the vehicle.:)
Now you could have the best of both situations.
Dry Fly Float Boats is designing an 8' boat with no storage bags or seats. It will be 6' wider that the standard and will have a 4' x 6' floor on top of the boat. It is to be used by an outdoor show camera man. He will mount a tripod and camera on the deck. This will allow him to shoot in any direction.
I was thinking with Serial Fish Killers military experience, we could make one for him. For the next outing, he could secure a machine gun to the tripod and be point man going down the river to insure that the rest of us will find holes to fish.

Dave,
Might I also suggest a secure rest for a RPG and a platform mounted mortar. That way SFK/Lone Ranger/Clayboy can imbibe himself in habitat improvement for our piscatorial pursuits. It would also provide a variety of weaponry for the dispensing of any rabid liberal types with whom he might cross paths.......LOL!

Dave, I would love to buy one of your rides: DryFly boats are clearly great products.
For me, budget simply does not allow it quite yet.
I have heard nothing but glowing reviews for your products. Some day I will be among those bearing witness.
Regards

I retired from the job that I did not love 3 years ago and the market his not done the 401 - K any favors.
You just let me know when it is right for you and we will enjoy having you as part of the DRy Fly Float Boat family.
Thanks for the nice words.
