Airport Bay parking

I spoke with Grosse Isle police today. They are allowing parking on one side of the street as long as they can get emergency vehicles through. Be careful parking in the Wonder Well lot, I saw a guy get blocked in yesterday.

Also saw some water on the ice in the channel to Round Island but there is a good trail to get you into the bay. Just be careful.

Noticed today (sunday) everyone parking Ok except for one car parking too close to stop sign got a ticket.

When you guys are fishing airport bay do you need a quad to get out to where the fish are or can you walk?
Im looking on the map and i dont see airport bay i do see a Grosse lle airport at the south end of the island is this where your fishing?

Airport Bay is between the airport and Round Island. Quads and sleds help (there's a long walk) but not necessary. It's only about a mile to a mile and a half to the fish. Just check and make sure the gear you are taking will be needed. A lighter load helps.
