Loon Lake

I will be staying by this lake this weekend. Does anyone have any cautions or good lakes to fish? I don't want to walk out in a lake and not know that it has a lot of springs in it and go for a swim. Thanks for the info.

What Loon lake are you staying by? I know of 3 or 4 in Michigan, let me know I've fished a couple of them. I might be able to help...

Thanks for the reply. I will be staying at the one north of Baldwin by the Nataka bar. I sure hope the fish are biting this weekend. I am getting way to bored catching practially nothing. Fingers crossed for luck.

Well we fished Loon this weekend. Was not a great fishing weekend. We did at least catch 9 fish. You had to work for them and the bite was about every half hour. Lots of snowmobiles on the lake making lots of noise. Waxes were the bait.
