Fished over in Bay city morning, in the area of veterans memorial park. Caught one legal fish (first one this season), threw a smaller one back and caught a stinking catfish  All fish came on a Orange and Gold jiggin rap. All around 6:30am.

Do you think the eye's are starting a vets park now I have fished there for 50hrs last week that's 10 hrs of over time ha ha:D. I caught alot of perch and 5 to 15 under sized eye's everyday. I pulled my shanty yesterday and thought I would give it a week. I move inland for some Gills and Specks did great on the gills and fair on the specks.:p

From Beaverton huh? Me too. Well went to school there from 7th grade to 12th grade anway's.

Umm, all the places that I have fished so far, I have caught at least one small one or nothing at all. Right now, from talking with other angler's, I would have that there are a few big female's/males in the river system, but it's mostly small male's. I fished by Ojibway island this evening and lost 2 big un's. Caught two smaller one's. One of the fish, I could barely move, what ever it was.

Being a first timer fishing for marble eye's on a river, I would say that nothing spectacular is happening. Every now and then I will hear report's of different palces being real hot, and everybody in the area catching fish. It's been more frequent in the past couple of day's though. I would have to believe that the walleye will be entering the river soon, or at least I hope so. Me and my brother are headed in the Vet's park area tomorow morning. They are there though, just have to be there at the right time and right place.

Good luck when you go.
