Heres a two day report.I fished solo yesterday by the barracks 4 fow with a sandy bottom. Kept 12 for 20 with the biggest being 12 inches.Went to the same spot approx. today with Cub, ended up keeeping about 20 or so. They seem skiddish, must be all the humanity in the area. We got checked by a C.O. today, make sure you wear your helmuts if your riding.

I was out in that mess today too, but wasn't as lucky as you ImaRedneck. I was out in front of the barracks too, but alot further out (I would say 3/4 of a mile) in about 6 F0W. I figured the fished would be spooked by all the snowmobiles and 4 wheelers running by the shore. Guess I was wrong  . I only caught two nice ones. Saw quite a few dink perch but other than that it was a frustrating day to say the least.
I'm going to try Stoney Creek tomorrow.
