After work today I drove to Luna Pier. There was only one shanty and the only thing outside that shanty was an auger. I then went to Boiles harbor and spoke with the guys coming off the ice there, they said they were out all day without even a bite. I then went to breast bay and heard the same thing from the guys getting off the ice there. They said they had fished all day not even a bite. After reading FatBrads post I have decided to try Lake St. Clair Sunday. I have never been there. I plan on taking I75 to I94. Once on I94 can someone tell me what exit to get off and give me directions from there? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Richard.

Just take I-94 East and take it to M-59 or Hall Road East, follow it to the end for about 1-2 miles and you will come to the DNR boat launch, easy to find!

Are there bait shops in the area? Do you know what time they open?

As you come to the end of M-59, which will be Jefferson, look to your left, Selfridge Bait & Tackle, I think they open at 6:00 A.M., but don't quote me, you can probably call information and get there number, they are in Chesterfield Twp.
