Loomis, Kingfisher and myself are heading up early Monday morning.
I'm hoping this warm spell will create a little run-off and trigger a small run.

I am leaving tomorrow for a week of bay and river fishing, hopefully with the little warm up the fish will be starting to head for the river. Do you guys plan on fishing the river Monday? I will report back next weekend if I don't get a chance sometime during the week.

We'll be on the river. I sold 4 wheeler and the bay is out for me.

We'll probably start out below Zilwaukee and "nose around" from there.

Fished the mouth of the river at Bat City tonight. Lots of people as far out as you could see. Fished from 4:30 Till 7:00. There were 3 of us and we never had a hit and saw no fish caught or on the ice...Patch

I may come back the following Monday. Got the bird hunt Sunday. Should be a "blast" LOL

Fished out at the mouth this morning with my brother and step-dad. One hit between the 3 of us. We did not see and caught nor did was see any on the ice.

Then me and dad went over by Hooters in Bay City. I caught one 14" er on a blue and silver jiggin rap, and my dad lost a nice one on a black and silver jigging rap.

We caught three keepers and about 8 sub legals on Friday.We saw a few 5 pounders caught and lost a couple 5 pounders and the fishing is picking up.Did the best on chartruse rapala's and jigs.

Sunday morning - nice day to fish, but apparently not a good day to catch. 2 of us fished Wickes, North of Zilwawkee, and by the Waste Disposal (hint - check wind direction before fishing there - about died and still can't get the smell out of my nostrils). My partner thought he had a bite, I didn't. Saw one guy catch about a 10 incher - that's it. Heard rumors of good catches in the bay, but I have no transport other than shoeleather, and they're talking 5 miles. Good Luck
