Friday January 30 Lake St Clair
Overcast Temp @33f Wind SE

Myself, Loomis and Lady Loomis got out @ 9:00am turned on fish in the first hole. First keeper before 10am it was the largest at 10.5in ended up keeping 14 fish the average was 8in saw much larger fish!! saw something scared out a school of 10in perch, just saw the tale but seemed over 30in the guys next to us yelled WOO so i think they saw it, if you guys are on here let me know what i missed?
Great day over all, The guy at bridge bait said it was horrible out he was really misinformed.

I think that some are spoiled by limits in that area that a 14 fish day doesn't sound so good. 14 sounds pretty good to me. Good catch!

14 is plenty to eat more is a waste, some of those fish i saw had to be over a foot LSC is the best perching i've ever seen!

Whats the secret to your success? Went out about a week ago no luck at all for any of us.

jigging rapala was amazing it would attract the fish in from a long way away then having other baits available kept there interest and something else to eat. Starting a frenzy also worked well, don't ignore little fish. Get the little ones to carry your bait around and fight over it this will draw attention from the larger fish. At one point i started teasing 2 7in fish kept pulling the bait away soon i had 10 fish fighting then that musky scared them out. Once you get their attention don't lose it keep the excitement level up!!

Fatbrad; I have not done any good around Flint, Thats why I have been going to Higgins,Houghton, Sag River and now LSC.

I 'll be out in the middle of the herd at Selfridge on Sunday.

Fished Chemung this morning,2am to 7am, half a dozen crappies

tons of fish underneath us, just couldn't get 'em to bite
