Has anyone been got any decent perch action on the saginaw bay anywhere from standish to bay port? Lookin for somewhere to go Saturday morning. And maybe get a meal worth of decent ones. Thanks!

While I was out South of Hoyles in Linwood fishing for walleye. I could not keep the big perch off my tipup. They were even hitting my spoons. Nothing smaller then 9", most were over 10 and a few over 12". I finally pulled my tipup because I could not keep them off. They really liked the big minnows.
I was about 250 yards past the first pressure crack in 8 FOW.

Did you go over the presure crack? If so how bad was it? I'm thinking on going to the Bay next week but I afraid of the presure crack.

I have been crossing it. With this warm weather I would suggest bringing planks if you plan to cross it.

Went to Linwood today caught 5 perch kept two one 12 1/2 inches and other 11 1/2 inches. I dont really like the crack but some people were drivin their cars past it. We stopped right before the crack and fished there at about a little over a mile.
