Did anyone fish Lake Nepessing this year?

I was wondering if any of you have fished Lake Nepessing in Lapeer county this year and what kind of luck you had. I've been out there several times and I have not had any good luck. I even had my brand new auger fall off my sled last saturday and didn't discover it was missing until the next day :-(

My friend and I fished Lake Nepessing a while ago. We went out from the Pellican Resturant . There were twenty five or so people whishing I mean fishing.:D We didn't fair well. I don't know how to entice the fish to bite I guess.I wanted to walk out by the camp ground to fish but there was a no trespassing sign at the boat luanch.So I didn't know exactualy what the owners were refreing to . We wern't looking for trouble.If you go post a therad and let us know how you did.

i fish nepessing rather often. have done well out there for walleye and pike. i usually fish with tip ups. i have tried to entise the gills and perch to bite but with no luck. the specks have not been doin all that great. but with the warm up comin this weekend i am certain things will turn around. have seen some nice fish on cam but can't get the darn things to bite. just watch out for sleds. they feel that they own the ice. lol. :D
