We returned yesterday from a day an a half trip to Lake Simcoe. Fishing was slow for us as we only managed to bring back around 100 perch, for four fisherman. We fished from Port Bolster to Cooks Bay and also Sibbald Pt. Our best success was at Port Bolster, but Cooks bay, we felt held a lot of potential if we had more time. We caught bigger fish in Cooks Bay. We used minnows and I took some wigglers, and did well using those. We fished depths ranging from 25 to 32 ft, but alot of people seemed to be fishing in the 40ft range. Ice is 12 inches or more in most places, trucks were driving on Cooks Bay, the snow on the east end near Port Bolster made driving quads pretty difficult. Good Luck!
