Went out a half mile out in lake Erie in 10 ft water perch swimming by the holes all morning. would'nt hit minnow or wax worms. Gonna try tommorow a little farther out. Best ice there in 15 years or better. 8 good inches of clear ice.

Have you tried wigglers i have had good luck with them on a very small tear drop.

Yarddog, seems fish were just not biting today. I never spotted anything worth mentioning at Breast Bay today but a guy there with a camera tells me he saw some real nice walleye and perch by his spot and they had no interest in his bait. Lets hope there fasting and we are there for the feast.

Went out again sunday morning. mile and a half straigth out great ice no fish. water about 9 ft crystal clear.
