I went out late last nite (10pm-1am) to get some specs, Lake had a good 10" of ice so after drilling four holes with the hand auger and setting up the shanty, we didn't find any specs so switched over to spikes and I caught my limit of gills. They where on the bottom foot. Would of liked to move around to find the specs, but man, its a bit of a work out drilling that many holes through that much ice!
Anyone have any good spec reports for the S.W. area?

Where did you go duckman? I was planning on getting out today, but this wind + no shanty = misery. Ill wait until the little warmup coming this week, or at least a reprieve from this wind.

I cut an average of 50 holes every trip, which lately is every other day. Wait till we get 14 to 16 inches :D

With the weather forcast still showing cold temps, I wouldn't be surprised to see 14" by the end of next week
