ever wonder why your TV has a tint control, and your stereo has bass and treble? Its not to correct poor design, its so you can within parameters adjust to the way you like it......

I don't usually bother to take it with me unless I'm going to be out on the ice for a long time. But I really like to have a Thermos of HOT CHOCOLATE along ! May not be as manly as the rest of you, but it warms me up just fine and tastes great. :)

have any of you tried snowshoe grog. its brandy and pepperment schnapps mixed together 50/50. a buddy of mine in colorado claims it good stuff.
i know my brother tried it when they fished lake of the woods and he claimed it sucked.

I always have some kind of hot chocolate with me. Swiss Miss packets in my foodbucket now. The latest flavor I bought was caramel and cream....very tasty.

Now, when I want to imbibe a little, (I hesitate to say warm up because as we all know alcohol actually will make you colder after the initial bloodrush) I bring some mini-Martinis aka "'tinis". Some Beefeaters or Tanqueray, a toothpick with olives and onions, ossed in a tall shot glass....formaldehyde (sp) never tasted so good! Gotta be careful though, I introduced a buddy to these and he wanted to eat the whole jar of cocktail onions!

While not quite a beverage, some kind of soup is also always with me....Progresso being the tastiest! If it's not soup it could be some Dinty Moore stew or last week I made beanies and weinies...Brook's Chili hot beans and four hot dogs....warms ya, fills ya, and makes the ride home "interesting". :-)

Coffee or Hot Cocoa, Works for me, I will pass on the Alcohol, as I know that it won't make ya warm, besides...I don't wanna be drinking and driving so I avoid it
