was at Selfridge yesterday from 1~4pm and managed 24, from 8~11".....was out by the preasure crack in only 4' fow. Cool thing was you could look right down the hole and see em. Saw a couple that had to go 15" (huge!) thought they were walleye at first, but they had NO interest in the bait.
At first all they wanted was wax worms, then turned to minnows. Key seemed to be "small" - teardrop jigs in purple, pink, and gold. There would be 30min go by and not even a fish in the hole, then the hole would be full of em, and you'd catch 3~5. You could see the small ones and keep it away from em, till a bigger one would come in so sorting wasnt bad. Plan on being back out next week....when theres fewer people, but I must admit that when there were people walking by, or driving by on machines, it seemed to help move the fish around, so maybe this wked is the time to get out?
