I went off the west launch last year in the evening and got about 10, but we were going for smelt. We seen gigantic schools with our vista cam, and they were biting, but they are hard to hook for some reason. I fished right off the sunken island in summer, and always do great, in about 40-50 feet in summer, we slam the 9-12 inchers. Anywhere off thenorth drop off is good, if you go there in the evening in summer, you will see huge schools of perch, and they will be there all season long, just find them. I will be up there the 21-24 for some late ice action, and will try some new areas. Try the boat launch(north), it's 6-7 ft deep with tons of weeds, and with 6 in of water surrounding it, seen massives schools of massive perch there in the morning in summer, but when the boatsa came out, they would leave, but since boats can't get out there now, i think it should be unbelievible.

Don't be too hard on the guy who told you where to fish... nearly everyone has struggled for the past week and a half. Today is the first day without big wind in that time period. We're all hoping that helps. As far as the advice from the guy who said "move Around", it's sound advice. If you fish near the dropoff and drill multiple holes from about 8' of water out to 60', it is amazing how much they shift depth. We usually start fishing by drilling a bunch of holes and then going back and trying them until we hit fish that are willing to bite...

I fished the N.E side of the lake. Kept 30 eaters, best on Hali Jig with waxworm in 34 ft. Also tried minnows and spikes. Good luck!
