i saw a shanty on the grand river upstream from the bridge near the west river drive boat launch. i have fished there in the summer and there is some pretty swift current!

Wait till you see them drive their trucks right on the river from a boat launch like on the Maumee! Ice is like paint chips to a kid the more they come across the more weird they get... :D

They have been doing that for years! this is the first in acouple of years we've had enough ice around for anyone to attempt it! i hear they just murder the pike there. Also that is a small bay with little to none current the main river channel is on the otherside of the river-- As the old saying goes better them than me:D

its been there since at least wednesday, about 15 feet from shore, dunno what theyre thinking-if anything...

one year long ago the ice was so thick in comstock area my buddy walk accrossed the whole thing.
