Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have missed the past few Meet and Greets. I don't want to miss the next one. Any ideas for a date? Marinellis again?

Speaking of those, what happened to the one 2 weeks ago. KF2 and myself showed up and no one was around. Was it cancelled, or did it get moved do to the QDM turmoil? LOL :D

Howdy-

I'm curious about the last one myself....I recall there were quite a few last-minute cancellations; I even posted about the possibility of re-scheduling (hope THAT didn't contribute to the no-shows!)

At any rate, I'm anxious to get together again; Marinelli's is fine w/me, unless others object....?

What say ye?

Someone throw out a definate date; we seem to do better once that is decided.

That being said, I'm out for the 14th (Connor's birthday), and I think the 11th, 13th, and 15th (Emily and I are taking the Hunter Safety course offered by Shelby Township.)

Paul did get a shot of the group, courtsey of our waitress, which he'll post later, I'm sure.

Neal slyly left early, citing some family birthday obligations as his excuse; personally, I believe it was pure embarassment after our stirring rendition of "Happy Birthday....)

Dan rought his pictures from his western excursion for us all to enjoy.

Neal supplied his sausage  ; this time, Ralf didn't wave it in strange girls faces.....:D

We solved all the world's problems (including the Lions'); just can't seem to recall the solutions now.....

Kicked around a few ideas for outings and get-togethers....

Drank a few beers while we were there.....

It was good to see Ralf again, along with Darrin, who trucked in from Redford.

Nice, too, to be joined by Mike (smalliesandbucks); a couple of new faces each time, and this thing will continue to roll on!

A personal thank you to Rich, for once again keeping the food coming.

AND, Joel asked me if I'd be his date again this year at the SCI Bowhunters banquet! Of course, I said YES! (Insert picture of me blushing here):o

Yes, it is a well kept secret that finely ground antlers not only enhances the flavor of the sausage, it also acts as an Aphrodisiac......Looks like Les and Joel had a bit too much:D

Really nice to see everybody and meet others. Sorry to missed some of you but it was either leave early and take crap from the guys or stay late and take crap from the wife........It was an easy decision.

Thank you all again for the birthday wishes and the song, which did not determine my departure, but it sure did hasten it.
