Abu line counter kit

Hey guys. If anyone is interested, I just got my new line counter kit for my C3 Abu baitcaster. You take off the side plate and bolt it on. Really slick unit. Its been on backorder from Cabelas.

If anyone has questions, let me know. I plan on converting my other C3 as well.

It did come from Cabelas. I guess I wasnt clear on that. Sorry.

50 bucks. Not cheap. But I like the compactness and durability of my Abu reel. Some of those line counter reels are pretty bulky.

One thing I did notice is the backlight is pretty much useless. Doesnt seem to light up the display well at all. Hard to say until I try it at night, although the only night fishing I do is handlining.

Thanks a lot guys, you just cost me two hundred bucks.;)
I was thinking about some counters for the wash and down rods anyhow. Nice to be able to keep just upgrade my c-3's
