Well its finally here.... Got to the gates at 5 after sitting on 96 for an hr.
The people were out in full swing, never seen a fri. this busy since it was in the old building in 1999-2000. Man it felt good to see the season knocking on the door and I think every person had something in hand or a bag or 2.
No one can say attendance was down day 1. I have been on fridays before and have been able to see the wife all the way down, **** was lucky at times to be able to see her next to me. Ok enough on the attendance thank you boys and girls for coming out.
Everyone was gathered around the new Polaris it was the hot spot of the evening. It is a 50/50 split on the acceptance of the new model. Coming from an engineering background I can accept the concept, but I didnt run over and fill out a credit check for a new one lol.(i'll stick with the mxz) The clothing portion was just like any other yr. some stores had stuff up to 80%off and it may have been seasons last but still good stuff. All the big stores had 2010-hell even 2011 jackets and bibs to match all the new models and your favorite race teams. Tracks, tracks, tracks, tracks, hyfaxes, hyfaxes, hyfaxe s,skis, skis, skis, skis every booth has them, walk thru look at prices and compare. 1 complaint was that there are only 3 dvd booths and each only had special selections and 3 for 85 is not the deal I was looking for so no new slednecks 12 or cold smoke 12. really bummed.....
All in All I give the show a B for this yr. I didnt get the deals I needed to myself on everything. but yet my neighbor ended up getting 4or5 things more then expected and I think he is sleeping on his machine tonight.
Finally they have 2 good looking women walking around with beer carts with Bud-Bud light tall aluminum bottles for $4. (nice and smooooooth!!!):cool::cool::cool:
