Cliff,
Stillwater makes a selfbow based closely on a Grumley design right down to the static recurve limbs. They call it the "Grum" and it's a real shooter. They use Osage Orange only and there is sometimes a waiting list. The neat thing is you get a Grumley type bow you can actually HUNT with and not just hang on the wall. They also have an American style longbow called the Berwick and a "D" section selfbow in the early Welsh/Scottish tradition called the Stirling. That's the one I want next.

Thanks Ray, I have a Static that I hunt with a John Brooks which is a copy of a Grumley Deerslayer. I just like to hang the originals on the wall. So if you know where I can find one send them my way.

Hi Cliff, I have two bows from the early days of the Bear/Grumley partnership, from 1939. Both are burn stamped Bear Products by Grumley one is in excellent condition and the other is in very good condition. Photos can be e-mailed and we could discuss. I know this post is old, but if you are still interested, please let me know. Thanks. Ken. kblicht2000@yahoo.com
