I have been looking forward to it all summer. I mean being out on the boat is nice but there is just something about sitting on a frozen lake that makes me enjoy it just that much more.

Yep almost went out yesterday to find a dock that I could auger a hole through to pretend I was ice fishing. LOL

I'm putting my boat away for the year this Saturday. Next week I'd like to shoot a deer. After that I'll be anxious to drill some holes.

We ate the last of the smelt a couple weeks ago. I need to restock the freezer so it's time for some more Higgins lake hard water smelt fishing.
